Let us only hope that we can follow the African lead here in the United States. Our Republican senators managed to kill the provisions that would have required renewable energy in the current Energy Bill.

Thanks for your comment, Don. But actually, you may not have to look too far for leadership. In June, Delaware passed legislation creating a "Sustainable Energy Utility" a first in the world! It will promote both renewable energy and energy efficiency. Google them up and read more. There may be issues at the Senate, but i think US states are really doing great taking the lead on sustainable energy, climate change mitigation, etc. All the best!
